Thomson ONE only works with full functionality in Internet Explorer (IE), and within that, it only works properly in versions IE8 and below. For those of you familiar with this resource, this isn’t anything you haven’t heard before. Compatibility issues continue with Thomson ONE in the latest iteration of the Windows browser, Microsoft Edge. As has been the case before, there is a work around which you can find detailed below.
After launching Microsoft Edge, select the three dots icon in the top, far right-hand corner of the browser window. From there, scroll down and select Open with Internet Explorer.
A new window will open in Internet Explorer, within which you can access Thomson ONE by searching for it by name using the Search function within the Databases tab on the Lippincott Library homepage. You will be prompted to authenticate with your PennKey information. Once in Thomson ONE, select the gear icon in the top, far right-hand corner of the window. Then scroll down and select Compatibility View settings.
In the box that appears you will see Thomson One. Click Add and then Close.
